New Inspiron 570 doesn't power my printer

Have new Inspiron 570.  When I tried to print to my Lexmark 730 it wouldn't work.  I checked and it's listed but with a problem symbol.  Do I have to install the disc that came with the printer (I used it on my previous computer).  Isn't 570 a plug and play??  Also is there a way to make the control panel show the classic way (my previous pc was windows xp).  I have difficulty finding what's installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you must use the disk or download and install the latest drivers for the printer from Lexmark. It won't work without the drivers on all your computers.

Thank you Mary. Installed the disk and now the printer works.
