New graphics card for workstation 490

Hi

I have old workstation 490 with Xeon 5080 - 8GB RAM and NVIDIA Quadro FX4500.

I would like to replace old card on better one on which I can play games a little bit.

What card will be good for such computer?

Thanks in advance for any feedback

Only Older Radeon or Newer Geforce will work.

Radeon 6450 is fine.

Radeon R4 R5 R7 R9 series wont work.

Geforce 600 700 series is fine.

Specific Geforce 900 Series works.

I use a specific GTX 960 and it works just fine in my Precision T3400.  I do have problems with ATI R Series like the R7 260X where they wont go into cmos setup complaining that they cannot do DOS VESA Mode 103.

Thanks

I was thinking about R7 370 4GB but in that case I must  double check...

Hi

Do you know if motherboard DT031 with bios rev 08 supports PCI-E x16 3.0?

For sure there isn't problem with PCI-E x16 2.0
