Optiplex 755 Cpu Upgrade/Heatsink?

Hi.  I am the proud owner of a 755 Optiplex minitower (thats the biggest one, right?).  I would like to swap out its current E8400 for a quad core CPU.  I have not decided on which one yet, but my assumption is that all of the quads would run hotter than a dual core CPU.  I might be worth mentioning that the PC originally came with an E6750.

Since the Optiplex (most Dells?) use a non-standard Cpu heatsink/fan assembly, my question is this:  Did Dell use the same heatsink/fans regardless of whether the PC shipped with a dual core or quad core CPU? Or did one heatsink/fan assembly suffice to cool the duals AND quads sufficiently?  Ok, thats 2.

I have looked online for a heatsink that is specifically for a 755 with a quad core, but have only found the standard one that I currently have in my very own 755.

Thank you.

Bios update for the 755 is like A20 I think.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to UPDATE the BIOS BEFORE Installing an updated cpu.:emotion-3:

The High performance Heatsinks on Optiplex Towers have copper heatpipe construction.  The Low end ones are a solid block of aluminum extrusion.  Low End Optiplex 755 Mini Tower Systems. Compatible part numbers: HR004, J7109, FW209, W5685, W6177

J9761 is the High end Copper part.
