PROBLEM GETTING LOGITECH SPEAKERS Z-523) ON DELL INSPIRON 660

 HELLO, I AM REALLY BAFFLEN AS TO WHY MY SPEAKERS DON'T WORK

2 SPEAKERS (SPKR#1 HAS THE CONTROL KNOBS,PLUG TO POWER CONNECTOR, SPKR2 WIRE GOING TO REAR OF TOWER(SPEAKER INPUT CONNECTORS. THERE IS POWER IN THE SPEAKERS(THE LIGHT GOES ON), AND YET NO SOUND APPEARS TO BE HEARD. THE WIRE COMMING FROM THE LEFT SPEAKER IS PLACED IN THE REAR OR THE TOWER(SOUND CARRIER?)  ANY HELP WOULD APPRECIATED . THNKS

SPEAKERS NOT WORKABLE WITH DELL, ?THE WIRE TO THE REAR OF THE pc IS LIGHT GREEEN  I WONDER WHY IT WON'T WORK WITH THE SAME COLOR RECEPTOR ON THE BACK OF THE TOWER?

Hi wimple.pie,

It can be annoying when the speaker fails to work as expected. You will need to connect the cable from the Right speaker to the Green audio out port on the tower. The Yellow connector from the Left speaker has to to be connected the subwoofer and also the second cable with a bigger pin from the right speaker.

You will need to play an audio file from the Desktop and adjust the volume.
