PSU help needed
I just found an old school 550W PSU in my old PC and basically it has the IDE cables but I have SATA Extensions, now on my motherboard there is 2 spots to where i plug the PSU into it, one of them is a 4 pin which matches up but..
on the motherboard there is a 24 pin slot and on my actual PSU it only has a 20 Pin connector, if i plug the 20 pin connector into the 24pin motherboard will it power the machine fine?

nevermind found my own answer out, for anyone thats interested it can only be used if your not using a Graphics Card thats powered by the PCI E slot. otherwise it becomes unstable as the extra 4 slots are used for it.
