Power options?
Hey hows it going, is it safe to change the power options, and do they really increase perfomance when you set it on highest option? Thank you.

What do you mean by does it really increase performance when you set it on the highest option?
I have XP and I use a program called SpeedSwitchXP and it helps me control my options so I can get more battery time for my computer.
For best battery life, it's recommended to keep 10% battery life. I have mine hibernate at that setting.
At 14% I have the battery alarm go off warning me I have about 5 minutes to get to the charger.
If you can use the screen at a dimmer setting, this will help you get some extra time, but sometimes this is hard to avoid. I have My 53whr battery last about 4 hours, depending on what brightness of the screen I use.
