AOBATOMIC11,

Since your system came with Windows XP Home edition installed, you have no easy way of restoring it to an out-of-factory state. You have the option of going to Start|Control Panel|Add/Remove Programs and uninstalling any program which you may have installed since receiving your computer or doing a clean install of Windows XP and installing the software and drivers you received on those CDs. If you elect to do this, there are good instructions for the process here.

Ok your running Windows ME right? if so do this

Reboot the computer
then when it starts counting the memory before the windows logo shows up press the F8 key repeatedly untill you come to a boot option screen. Select "command Prompt". Then when you get to the command prompt make sure your on the c drive (it will show c:) then type in Format c: then it will ask you if your sure and press Y for yes and let it format. then after its all done formatting install windows again and reload all the drivers and software that you want and or need. Let me know if it works out all good!!

You might need to make a boot disk in windows to boot to DOS, thats where youll do the formatting at. If that dont work let us now! If you want to sit and read a bit you can use the links to pages some people provide in there posts about WINME
