dimensions 2400 wont power on

i have a very old desktop, but have some stuff stored on it that i need.  i only use this machine for word processing.  Mainly billing for a home based business.  i went to print new invoices today and the machine wont power on.  no fan, no noises, no lights.  the power light does glow  a faint amber. 

Any suggestions??
