e520 Core 2 Duo Heat Sink question

pretty easy question for you great peeps...

When replacing the pentium 4 (3.06) in my Dell e520 with a C2D (older 65 nm of course) how do i plug in the heat sink (the ones i have seen are a 4 pin style)?

On the mobo is the power socket for the big case fan (the pentium 4 cpu heat sink has no fan)...

So how do you connect the nice new fan to this board?

Thanks for the help :D

You need to use the default heatsink, as the e520 has a Dell proprietary heatsink and motherboard retention bracket, a standard ATX heatsink will not fit.

Excellent thanks Bev! I guess it will be fine as the C2D probably will be cooler than the pentium 4 :D

I was crazy enough to try put a e6750 in it due to some posts on ask.com saying it would support all E6... series and that the 1333 FBS cpus would just be underclocked lol...

Just waiting on a cheap E6600 to pop up (the price between a pentium 4 / D / C2D is not much different oddly enough)

Anyway thanks and how do i make sure you get points for answering this post?
