(redirected) Alienware x51 Hard Drive questions
I am going to build a gaming PC, and I was wondering a few things.
1.Can the I take the hard drive out of my Alienware x51 and put it in my own custom built computer.
2.Will I have to buy Windows for my custom built PC with the same hard drive that's in my current Alienware x51

1) Yes.
2) Yes, Alienware's OEM of Windows is tied to their BIOS and will not activate on a retail motherboard
