DELL XPS 8900 Win 7 Pro - RANDOM SEEK Test - Module Failed to Start

I was running the Dell Diagnostics hardware test and got this message for 2 drives

Any one knows what it actually means?

Thanks

Hi Yannis,

Thanks for posting.

What the PC-Doctor team has found here is that on a system with this many drives, when the tests are trying to load at the same time that we are loading CPU and memory stress testing, the load prevents the modules from getting loaded on all drives before hitting timeouts.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Robert

That error also appears if there is no disk in an optical drive. Doesn't mean anything if it is a dvd/cd drive.
