DVD plays no sound

I have an E510 and there is no audio when I play a dvd on the computer. The audio works fine for everything else, including cd's. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check the sound set up for your DVD player software.  There are sound options in most players, such as WinDVD.  If you are getting audio from CD's that would say the drive is setup correctly and it's probably a player issue.

Thanks for the help, Fireberd. I actually got someone from Dell to figure out the problem. I needed the Sonic CinePlayer software. I reinstalled it and everything is working like it should.

You can call Dell and they will send it to you at no charge.
