Dell Inspiron 660 PCIe Card

I purchased a Dell Inspiron 660 4 days ago and transferred in an HVR 1250 from my Dell XPS 420 (where it worked fine with no problem).  I have tried everything I can think of to get the Inspiron to recognize the card but to no avail.  The slots seem to be inactive(  I've tried two of them now) and I get no indication from the computer that it even recognizes the card has been inserted.  No "found new hardware" or anything else.  Tried downloading the drivers from Hauppauge and it said "no hardware found".  C'mon Dell,  after reading this forum, your Inspiron 660 has a problem and like all the other posters, I would like a fix for this please!

Since this is a brand new system, you should contact Dell Tech Support directly.

If necessary, you have 21 days (in US) from date of invoice (not date of delivery) to request a replacement system.

I can't say if it's a problem with the card or the motherboard, so check to see if the card is compatible with newer revisions of the PCI-e standards. If it's old, it might not be compatible with the newer standards and that could be why it won't work in the 660.
