Opening my videocard to clean the dust off
Hello,
I have an NVIDIA 8800GT 512 MB (G92 chip) which came with my Dell Vostro 410. However, the temperature at idle is currently 74 degrees celsius. My computer still has warranty. If I am playing a game, it reaches 90-100 degrees.
Is it OK if I open up my computer AND open up my graphics card to clean off the dust? Will it affect my warranty?

Don't open the card. Use a can of Air and a Vacuum. Take the card outside when you do this.

To answer your direct question, opening your Dell desktop does not void the warranty.
