Precision T3600 - fan speed/noise
Hi All,
I am running in to a problem with a Dell Precision T3600 and fan speed/noise. First some background. When I turn on the computer, the fan speed and sound level is normal. If the user run their MATLAB scripts, the CPU usage eventually reaches 100% and as expected the fan speed increases and the noise level go up. That all fine and expected.
The issue I have is when the scripts end and the fans seem to go from high to medium, but not back down to the lower speed. At what point should the fan return to the lower fan speed?
If I power the system off and back on the fans stay at the lower and much quieter speed.
I am running the latest BIOS A09.
Any suggestions?
