upgrade xps 8100 gpu
Does anyone out there know if a GTX 1050Ti video card will work on a DELL mb 0G3HR7 with a A05 BIOS. This is a 2010 model dell 8100. There are some posts of these cards working in newer units but none as old as mine.

Hi signinbutton,
I am not sure on the 1050Ti, but I do know there are other posts on here discussing the use of the GTX 960 in the system and it appears to work as shown here
If you do end up trying the 1050 let us know if it works out. Unfortunately on older systems there is not a lot of info on these newer GPUs unless someone does it on their own and posts about it.

Well it took me some time to finally get the 1050ti seems to be in short supply up here. However got one, got it in and it works perfectly no issues installing at all, fantastic graphics card. Hope this helps others wanting to upgrade..
