Cisco - EMC - VMware cloud announcement
Since Roy brought up the issue of cloud computing, those of you interested in the topic may want to check out the joint announcement made by Cisco, EMC, and VMware today about a offering to bridge the private cloud called Acadia.

I agree. It will be exciting. I believe that a side effect of cloud computing is increased uncertainty about making the right decisions in IT strategy. Private cloud, federated cloud...I mean...it is very foggy... literally. I believe that we will see an increase in IT assets being acquired though leasing. Doesn't it make complete sense to lease your way into the cloud?
