5480/7280 WinPE 3.0 Drivers Touchpad not working

Hi, I'm struggling to get TouchPad working for 5480/7280 models in WinPE 3.0 (Windows 7 x64 based), to deploy Windows 7 x64, we're not wanting to use WinPE 10 yet as that has other problems for us.

6th gen processor

Included NIC, touchpad and chipset drivers in WinPE, chipset includes the driver for this new irritating I2C controller that is different to previous models.

Checking devices for some reason they appear as "PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller" but change name to the correct when restarted "Intel(R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D60" (61 and 62), but still didn't get the touchpad working.

Anyone had any success with this?

I note that the Windows 7 drivers came out for these models at the end of May, but the WinPE driver pack hasn't had an update since February.

HI.

We are having the same issue but with Windows 10.

This is with all the new devices in the 80 range (so 5480, 5580, 7480, etc).

Hopefully Dell respond to our question as I have logged calls with them and they cant seem to find a solution.
