Can I use 300gb 10K drives from a DMX2000 in a CX700?
I have 300GB FC hard drives removed from a DMX2000 and would like to use them in a CX700. Will they work? Any problems I'll need to address?

drive format and firmware are different, most likely will not work.

I tried couple days back and it didnt worked. Here is the Part Number: 100-880-894 i tried in CX700 and it showed up
DAE is at fault.

drives for DMX are formated 512k while drives for Clariion are formated 520k, what you are trying to do is not supported.

512k/520k ? What do you mean ? I think you mean 512 bytes per sector (bps) versus 520 bps.
