Hyper-V 2012 R2 CSV Replica through ASM?
Hi,
I have upgraded to HIT 4.8 and run a HV Cluster on R2 with CSV.
I had replica setup on the groupmanager with a schedule before because of the lack of ASM support in HIT 4.7.1.
Now I disabled the schedule and setup the access in HIT to both groups. When I try to setup a schedule for a CSV all looks fine, but I cannot select "Replica" for the volume.
Any suggestions?
Access is configured and the volume was replicated before through group manager.

Hello…
There is a limitation related to the behavior of Microsoft’s Hyper-V VSS Writer which prevents Smart Copy replicas from succeeding.
Smart copy replicas are, however, supported for regular volumes and application components (SQL, Exchange, Sharepoint, etc…) But, not for Hyper-V VM’s, including CSVs.
Kindly advise if I can provide further information.
