Reallocate 'Snapshot reserve' space to 'Free'

Hi,

I have a 'snapshot reserve' set and I don't want to use it anymore, how to I allocate that space to 'Free'?

I sorted it, had to reduce the snapshot reserve space on each LUN to reclaim the space.

Hello,

Glad you found the solution.  In the Group Configuration you can set the default snapshot reserve to something lower.  This will apply to new volumes you create.

Hello MrFord,

What you can do is to go to each volume and zero the snapshot reserve.  If you have any snapshots that you have done recently, you will lose them when you set the space to zero.  Also, if you don't adjust the default reserve, any volume created is going to have snapshot reserve automatically and the default is 100%.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
