Welcome to this EMC Support Community Ask the Expert conversation. During EMC World 2014, Las Vegas, there will be a lot of our members of the ECN community attending. How would you like to hear about what they are doing and get the latest news they are hearing?

Mark Browne will be on the show floor engaging with customers, partners and EMC Elect members. He will be covering a good number of events and sharing those news here. In addition Mark will be glad to get your questions as to what you want to know about the happenings at EMC World 2014. And if Mark does not know the answer he will find the person at EMC World who does.

We look forward to this being a lively, fun and interactive event, and your online eye into EMC World 2014.

I take for granted that there will be re-broadcasts or the keynotes will be available on youtube, right?

They keynote will be rebroadcast at 4:30pm PST. Audio issues were encountered. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.   Those attending live can hear it though. And its all quite exciting.

More from me later, but keep the questions coming in

Its Day 2 and Pat Gelsinger, CEO of VMware is onstage now. More on that later. Dave Henry one of the TOP ECN contributors and respected EMC Elect member has posted this great post about EMC World Monday announcements. Its a great recap of what was announced yesterday. Well worth the read.

Cheers,

Oh and of course the photos we are posting up on our twitter stream: https://twitter.com/EMCsupport/media

Plenty more will be happening today and I hope to steal some time to put together a post on the technical support angle of what the announcements bring for people supporting their business technologies.

HI all,

EMC World was exceptionally busy for me. We had 35 EMC Elect members attending and between that and the ECN Customer experience booth it was a busy time. I can  say it was our most social conference to date and you will see this is so in the coming weeks with more announcements around EMC Forums and output from EMC World. I will be putting my own blog post together on it as soon as I can. I happen to be going to the Cisco Live Conference too, which is practically back to back with EMC World.

In any event I hope you are following Hrvoje Crvelin  's blog Quantum Backuptron. Its a great read from an EMC Elect members perspective,  and his recent posts on his experiences at EMC World are vital reading for the inside view. I will wrap up this thread as as soon as I have completed my blog write up on the event in my own blog. I hope you enjoyed what was shared here and thank you for following and participation.
