One Global Hot Spare for MD1200 and T610?
T610 with H700 and a MD1200 connected via H800.
Can a drive in the T610 function as a Global Hot Spare for both the MD1200 and the T610?
I have spare drive bays in the T610, however the MD1200 drive bays are all occupied. Thus the reason I want to use a drive bay in the T610 for a Global Hot Spare which will cover the MD1200.

Hello Jeff,
No you can’t create a global hotspare on your T610 & have it cover your MD1200. The reason is that there are 2 different raid controller that are controlling your virtual disk. The controller in your T610 is for the drives in the T610 where as your second controller is for your MD1200.
