A used Dell laptop
I just bought a used Dell Inspiron laptop and when my son got it home it is password protected....how can I get it to out of the box...We turned the system on holding down the "C" key and for some reason after the screen pops up asking if we want the windows 7 it goes to the old users setup and won't change anything...help please...

Hello Deb3280,
To assist you in a better way, please help me understand if you are taking about the windows log in password or the Bios password. I would also request you to private message me the system service tag so that I can help you with the further troubleshooting steps as there are ways to reset the password without even re-installing windows.
