Dell Inspiron 1120 Display failure. Help!
I have plugged in two flash drives from my boyfriends computer and tried to copy files from one of the flash drives to my desktop thre out of the 29 files transferred over when the screen went black an my laptop started beeping that were constant of 8 beeps and wouldnt stop. I looked up the beep code and it said "Display failure". The computer worked fine before i copied the files.
What made it go wrong?
How can i fix it?

Hi,
Welcome to the community
You can try reseating the LCD video cable (LVDS). Do this when you are comfortable opening up the computer and removing parts. Here is the link of the manual ;
