Dell Inspiron 15Z 8 beeps during start and screen split into 4 parts
I have Dell laptop inspiron 15z. From some time whenever I start the laptop it gives 8 beeps and screen is split into 4 parts. I did a factory reset and also checked the hardware by opening the laptop.
I also did the LCD test with 'D' button pushing.
I also performed epsa it gave me 2 errors.
Error code 2000 0415 and 2000 0321.
for error 1 got msg Cables. check the LCD Cable.
for error 2 got msg LCDFDID check- FDID EEPROM.
What should I do to troubleshoot or repair the laptop I bought it very costly and its used less than 3 years.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi GEEKPS,
The 8 beeps is a LCD failure error indicator. And hence the epsa errors relating to the LCD cable.
Is this a touch / non touch screen?
Update the BIOS if possible - http://dell.to/2fUAg8C- restart the system and check.
If the issue is not resolved, for touchscreen - you would need to replace the entire LCD assembly.
For non touch, download the service manual from the above link - reseat the LCD cable and check. If the issue is not resolved, the replace the LCD cable - this is the part you would need - http://bit.ly/2eg0YZ3
If the issue persists, then replace the LCD accordingly.
Presuming there is no warranty, then you could contact our team to get a quote for a paid service call - http://dell.to/1vnT6CQ
Also, please click my DELL-username and write me a private conversation with the service tag and your Name for case records.

Hi GEEKPS,
Thank you for the update.
There is a LCD cable for touchscreen available here - http://bit.ly/2eg0YZ3 - however, reseating or replacing the cable on touchscreens are quite a task as they might be fused with adhesive.
