Dell Webcam Console

Hello,

Okay, so here's the description of my system:

Dell Inspiron 1520

Windows XP Home, Service Pack 3

1 Gig Ram

120 Gig Hard drive

--------------

The issue is that when I open the Webcam Manager program, and then the Dell Webcam Console, the Audio Fx and Video Fx are not available.  It is as though they simply disappeared.

My questions are:  What caused/causes that to happen, How can I get those features back, and What can I do to keep them from vanishing in the future?

See if you can find the audio effects by following this path:

Start>Programs>Dell Webcam>Laptop Integrated Webcam>Dell Webcam Console

Look for a tab on the top left saying "effects", under "audio effects" and click the enable box. (This path was originally posted by forum member AbbyCharlotte)

I brought up the Webcam Console using the path you'd described, but there is only a Video Effects tab there, none for Audio Effects.

Try right clicking and checking "Show disabled devices". Other than that all I can think of is to reload the software.

I am not sure what application or extension I am supposed to right-click.  The webcam console is a .dll object.
