Inspiron M5030 frozen cursor

My Inspiron M5030 has a frozen cursor and I can boot it up bit can't move cursor. I have tried manually shutting down and rebooting, fnf8 and still frozen .  Can anyone help me????

Welcome to the community.

Have you tried to press the touchpad enable/disable key Disable Touchpad located next to the F12 key? In case not, I would suggest you to try pressing that key and see if it works. In case it does not work, you can try booting in safe mode by performing the folliwng steps and check if the touchpad works there-

Restart the system; start tapping the F8 key as soon as you see the Dell Logo. Highlight the Option "Safe Mode with Networking" and hit enter.
