Latitude E6420 UEFI support

It's really hard to tell from the doc what's going on with my latitude bios and uefi. The bios has a uefi/legacy boot radio button in Boot Sequence which I assume is converting to UEFI but I don't see any way to verify this. There's no UEFI boot manager that I can see.

Also, more importantly, I'd like to enable Secure Boot and I don't think I see a way to achieve that. I'm running bios A12.

Thanks, Mark

Hi MRkz,

The system BIOS on Latitude E6420 has the UEFI feature. There is no switch for UEFI Boot. Only if the programs have UEFI boot media (either in the optical media or via USB storage), the one-time boot menu will show an additional section listing the UEFI boot options. If they don't have UEFI boot media attached, they will never show this option.

Safe boot option is not available for this model.

Let us know in case of any queries.

Thanks and Regards
