My Inspiron 1501 is slow to start up
Occasionally when I start up my Inspiron 1501 it appears to get stuck on the "welcome" message after I log in. If I reboot it starts up fine. Any suggestions? Thanks

Always mention your operating system in your posts. Recheck your User Account settings in Control Panel. Then check for a slow loading driver or a driver with a problem. Look at everything in the Startup folder to make sure you are not starting your email or other Internet programs before the computer is fully booted. Don't start any non windows programs until everything loads. Loading programs out of order can cause the computer to hang.
