Tempted to take my Alienware 17 R3 back.

So. I ordered from Dell directly, got their most expensive laptop nearly. The PC arrived on the 15th. Well, the motherboard shorted out on the 17th, last night, about seven hours ago. Yeah, I'm pretty *** off. I transferred all my files over to it, and now I can't even access them.

I called Tech support, and the guy sounded like he couldn't care less about my problem. Yeah, we'll ship you a box on Monday, you might get it then. You might get the computer back Friday. So here I spend 2.6 grand, and what? The computer stops working day two, I may lose all my files, important files I need mind you. Do I get any compensation? Upgrades? Partial refunds? No. Just, "that ***, but we have to honor the warranty, so I guess we'll fix it".
