Touchpad
The touchpad on my Dell Inspiron Ultrabook laptop won't work anymore. I got the laptop in December 2012 and have used it probably a total of 5 times since then. The cursor has completely disappeared from the screen and is unresponsive. The enable/ disable button won't work either. I am running Windows 8 and would love some advice on what to do to get it running again.

Hi msiefferman,
I am sorry about the situation, will try to check if the touchpad is working outside the operating system. Shutdown the computer and tap F12 this wil intitate the ePSA test, during the ePSA test press ‘Esc’ key this will stop the ePSA test and you should be able to use the touchpad. Please check if the touchpad is working on the ePSA. Also connect an external mouse and check if the mouse is working?
