Upgrading Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card

I have a studio 1747, and want to replace the wireless card as it's only a b/g

Looking to replace it for a much faster b/g/n one.

Which one is the best I can get?

Many Thanks

Mark

Ah ok, thanks.  I was just a bit confused because the technical department at Dell told me some time ago that the Wireless Card on this laptop couldnt be upgraded to enable me to pick up a stonger signal because there wasnt anything available for the Inspiron 1545!

Ηι,

In order to use the N series of wireless card, you should have a wireless - N compatible router too.

Availability of these wireless cards may vary depending on your region.

In case the system is in US, you can contact Dell spares at: http://dell.to/PlvA9D

In case you belong to a different region, you can change your country from the drop down menu.

Log in to website and click on ‘Contact Dell Sales’. You will get the contact information to get in touch with Dell Spare Parts and Accessories department.
