When i turned on my dell inspiron N 40 10 laptop , my screen is blank...
Hi friends,
I was installing a new software to my lap.. the lap got hanged up.. after long time i unplugged the battery and plug it again.
From that onwards, my screen is blank when i switch on the laptop.. there is no beep sound.
But the power light indication is on, fan is running, hard disk is spinning.. dvd is working..
The screen remains black.
Can anybody help me to fix this issue...

Hi,
Welcome to the Community. Try connecting an external monitor to check if there is display.
Try disconnecting the battery and the ac adapter from the system, press and hold down the power button for 15 seconds, then connect the ac adapter alone to check if the system powers on.
