XPS 17 L702x nvidia geforce GT 555M graphics card not recognized

Need help,

I did a fresh install of win7 Ultimate on XPS702 I7-2760QM 8gb 750gb Hd 7200 rpm and the 555m 3gb Vid. card.  I show the intel card and SVGA as the second card.  I can find the Nvidia hardware IDPCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_124D&SUBSYS_05711028.  Every time I try to load the drivers or any Nvidia program is says "this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics device"

What have I missed?
