Dell SupportAssist Problems

Question

Dell Support Assist doesn't appear to be working again, even though it keeps bugging me to run it. It won't check for urgent drivers, just tells me to check online. When I do check online, it tells me I need an urgent BIOS update which I already have and a bunch of Drivers that I don't think are even on my system. I double checked that I was doing it correctly.I first noticed this a while back when there was a Dell security issue flagged up. Anyone know please?My Current SupportAssist Version is 3.10.1. Thanks for any assistance.

Is supportassist reading your service tag correctly.

In these scenarios I have contacted customer support

Supportassist backend team blacklists an unwanted update/driver/bios

If you don't have warranty you have no option but to clean uninstall support assist (deleting all of it's folders")

I'm going to tackle this tomorrow. I forgot I had already posted about this problem. I will use the Revo Uninstaller though. Thanks for your help.

Did you run Revo Uninstaller to completely move SupportAssist and all its leftovers, like I told you in your other thread on this same topic?
