Inspiron 3470, GPU upgrade, AutoCAD 2018

I got a small form factor Inspiron 3470 desktop and I would like to upgrade the existing Nvidia GeForce GT 710 video card for my AutoCAD 2018 usage. If upgrade is possible, I'm looking for those GPU card as certified by Autodesk. Are those low profile card size and compatible power consumption and interface? Say the Nvidia Quadro P400?

Any suggestion?

The QUADRO K620 is the recommended card. It uses 41W max. With Quadro Desktop/Quadro Notebook 385.90 64bit drivers and windows 10. Newer Pascal based card like the P400 would also work.

Note, none of those Autodesk recommended video cards were ever tested by Dell in the Inspiron 3470 with its 200w PSU (power supply unit). If you find one that works, please post it so other Inspiron 3470 owners will know.

Hi Chris,

do you know if Dell has the supported hardware list (SSD, GPU, memory etc) for the Inspiron 3470? can we go for GT10xx low profile series?
