Inspiron 5675, M.2 physical dimensions
I'm thinking about dropping in a SATA M.2 SSD into my 5675. However, I'm not clear on the form factor. Browsing around I see a number of different M.2 specifications (e.g., M.2 2280,2260,22110, etc.) and I'm not clear which size would fit the 5675. 2280 seems to be the most common, but that isn't necessarily what Dell chose when they designed the PC. Just for reference, is the NVME slot the same size? Also, do I need to pay attention to the keying of the slot? Or would buying a SATA model guarantee the proper fit?

The older form factor is B & M keyed which means its SATA.
M key Only is AHCI PCI-E. AMD StoreMI Technology is included with every motherboard that features an AMD X399 or 400-series chipset. The 5675 uses X370 chipset. I think this means NO X4 NVME at all. It looks like there is an optional M2 SATA 2280 port.
