S2440L, no signal, entering PSM

I got BIOS update then updated it then I got a blue window saying "Your PC ran into a problem" then the computer restarted but there is nothing on screen. It appears "Entering Power Save Mode" then it goes black and when I press a button it appears "There is no signal from your Computer" and then again it goes black. The power button of the monitor stays orange. Please help.

Your PC is not working because of the BIOS update so your monitor is displaying that message.

why do those updates and risk bricking the PC.

the monitor is simply telling the PC is dead,  as in NO VIDEO FROM THE VIDEO PORT DEAD.

do hard power AC reset on PC yet?

line cord to PC removed, for 1/2 hour or , power on 3 times, no cord AC to wall.

then put it back now? power AC cord and test the PC.

No, not if the BIOS is bad. The BIOS is on a chip on the motherboard.

So that means that the computer is dead and can't be repaired?

And is there anyway to update the bios? Like using a USB.
