CM161 Charger light ring separates from rest of wire!!!

So, this is the second charger this has happened to... after a few weeks of use, the blue light-ring on the charger pops out of the black casing, leaving exposed and easily frayed wire!

Anyone have a suggest of how to reseat the light-ring?
