Dell 7577 Warranty Issue in Singapore

Hi all, I bought a Dell 7577 UHD from Amazon and shipped to Singapore. Last Feb my screen started to flicker and having horizontal lines. I contacted Dell US and they advised me to perform a Warranty and Ownership transfer.

Dell approved my Warranty and Ownership Transfer but Dell Singapore doesn't honor it. I'm being charged SGD 500 for the screen replacement.

May I know what are my alternatives? How can Dell Singapore not honor the warranty even if the transfer was approved and they also sell the same product line and model here?

Thanks in advance

Thank you for your message. For a system to be eligible for an International warranty claim 1) the system must have Premium onsite warranty 2) The system model should be released in that region.

Your system is shipped with a basic depot warranty & is not eligible for an international warranty transfer.

You were helped with ownership transfer and not warranty transfer. Ownership can be transferred to any region irrespective of the warranty.
