Dell Inspiron 17R-5720, supported hdmi version
CPU: Intel Core i5-3210M;
Video adapter: Intel HD Graphics 4000;
I'm going to buy and connect monitor to laptop via hdmi. I'd like to find out supported version of hdmi by this laptop.

It's the original version on this Windows 7 computer. It does not affect the display or resolution. It's just a simple plug. Your old computer's GPU will have control of an ext monitor.
