Dell inspiron 13 7000 does not switch on
I just finished setting up my brandnew laptop. I plugged in an external dvd writer into the usb port and the laptop just switched off. I can't get it back on.

I am guessing that the system didn't boot to the operating system due to the external drive connected. Maybe you can boot the system first, and then use the external DVD writer on the system. When you connect any external device before powering on the system, the system might not locate the operating system file to power on. I would suggest you to try using the external DVD writer now as the system is already powered on.
