How to fix the keyboard cable connector?
My Dell Inspiron keyboard cable connector, a small black piece of plastic to secure the cable, is broken. The cable is unable to sit into the connector. Does anyone know how to fix the broken cable connector? Click the picture here?

Sorry to say this but the "ZIF" connector is one of the hardest to repair/replace.
My Techs pop at least one a week.
With time and a good lighted magnify glass it can be done.
I have only been able to repair/replace only a few.
All the others go to scrap.
If you can not repair it then you could use a USB keyboard.
But that turns your mobile laptop into a desktop.
