What is the OS installed on your computer?
Do you have the Windows OS disc (not the password recovery disc)?
In can you not able to reset the password, you may need to reinstall the Windows OS.
Please click on the message tab – click new message & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.

Saw on another post...you suggested using "Onscreen Keyboard" as my key board will not work to type in password on opening picture. How do I activate "Onscreen Keyboard"? Inspiron 15 - 3552.
