Thanks and yes you can. Per the chart, RAM for your system is DDR4 2133 and you can have a total RAM configuration up to 16 GB. So yes, 8 GB will work. If you are thinking of adding another 4 GB just make sure it is the same type and speed, and possibly the same manufacturer. The best case is to buy a kit of 2 matched RAM modules, then you are 100% sure of compatibility.

Table 1. Memory specifications.

DDR4

2133 MHz

Configurations supported
Per memory module slot 2 GB, 4 GB, and 8 GB

Possibly but could you please post the exact model number of your system? 3000 is a series but not an exact model number

Can you post the exact model of your system as 3000 is a series and not a model? Without the exact model, it is impossible to know what the recommended RAM speed should be. And even with faster RAM your system may only be able to run the RAM at a slower speed.

Hello

about Memory spec's;

Slots Two SODIMM slots
Type

DDR4

Speed

2133 MHz

I wish upgrade to 16 Mb (2x8GB), but I would like to know more details about:

1.- How many PIN?

2.- What is compatible, PC4-17000 or 19200 or 21300 ?

3.- Is 2133 Mhz Max Speed, could be higher, so what so higher 2400 or 2666 or 3000?

4.- CL-15 or higher?

5.- 1.2V or higher?

Best regards

Hi,

I'm in the same boat - I bought my mom an Inspiron 15 3000 Series (Intel(R)) - 3552 and want to upgrade the memory from 4Gb to 8, maybe even 16Gb. I've got two questions; would it handle 16Gb, and secondly, there's hatch in the back to add more memory. Do I have to take off the entire back panel?

Thanks

I have a DELL INSPIRON 15 3000 (3567) laptop. It has a 8 GB RAM Module. Its processor is an i5 of 7th Generation and it has an internal memory of 1TB. I would like to know if my laptop's RAM is upgradable and how. Can I go from 8GB to 16GB RAM? Please help me solve that issue. Thanks for your help.
