4TB ssd is possible.
HOWEVER
F6 mass storage drivers are required to "see" the drive.

Yes 4TB SSD's have been available for sometime now.
If you want to spend $600 - $1000+
This one is $200 less than the one on Amazon.

@speedstep Thanks heaps, I just want a 1TB ssd to speed up the laptop.
If you look at the specification for the "Storage" it says:
Inspiron 15 3000 Setup and Specifications:
https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/us/en/04/inspiron-15-3576-laptop/inspiron15-3576_ss/storage?guid=guid-e97a8b60-141e-481a-ab69-96ab7b65b544&lang=en-us
That is what Dell sold and test for your model.
That is what they can only recommend.
Inspiron 15-3576 Service Manual:
https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/us/en/04/inspiron-15-3576-laptop/inspiron15-3576_sm/before-working-inside-your-computer?guid=guid-5d3b1051-9384-409a-8d5b-9b53bd496de8&lang=en-us
@U2CAMEB4ME what I’m confused about is that a tech @ Dell told me I could only replace it with a 256gb ssd, I didn’t think it would be an issue putting the same size drive in.
Prices for 7mm drives are very reasonable now.
I still tend to recommend the SAMSUNG versions however.
OCZ’s SSD DRIVES ARE never recommended. Toshiba purchased them when they went bankrupt. So I would be leary of getting anything from them.

Cheapest
https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-NAND-Internal-SDSSDH3-1T00-G25/dp/B071KGRXRG/
256 GIG is NOT the Limit its the max they offer for sale.

Replacing the drive is not trivial and you must be CAREFUL with the flex cables and connectors.
Drive is mounted in a tray 7MM
Your very welcome @Marz77
@speedstep @U2CAMEB4ME Thank you both very much
