Inspiron 5570, recurring Intel driver updates notice

I have an Inspiron 5570 laptop. Lately, I've been getting Intel prompts that I need to update my;

Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST) User Interface and Driver for Intel 7th Gen and Later Platform.

Every time I try to update, I get a message that I already have a more recent version of the driver installed; to  that message, I answer "NO." I keep getting the prompt to update the driver, often several times a day. If I already have the latest version installed, why do I keep getting these Intel prompts?
