I tried both of those suggestions, including running the full diagnostic scan, and no hardware issues were found.
This has me scratching my head as my laptop literally restarted itself when I left it idle for 15 minutes when the computer turned on after the tests..
Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem with my 10-month-old Inspiron 7306 2n1 and no hardware problems or any other issues were diagnosed in those links. How can I solve this problem??
I have lost all my work today twice due to these random rebootings of my computer. I cannot have it restarting out of nowhere like this.

Update=Resolved-system is working fine after updating the BIOS and drivers.

Thank you for the prompt response.
