@Khaledon144hz DisplayPort is probably better, but as a general bit of advice, when asking technical questions, it helps to provide technical details. In this case it would have been useful to provide your exact system model (G3 15 is an entire model series, not a specific model) and the full details of the desired display setup rather than just a desired refresh rate, since things like resolution and color space will affect whether you can run the display. A QHD SDR 144 Hz display should be fine. A 4K HDR 144 Hz display probably won’t be, since that requires DisplayPort 1.4, which is still relatively uncommon on laptops.
